2010 SF Street Food Festival! – Aug 21, 11am-7pm

This weekend marks the delicious and lively 2nd annual San Francisco Street Festival, hosted by La Cocina for the support of policies and the formalization of mobile food vending in San Francisco. Street food is what contributes to the cultural richenss of our city as it blends the diversity reflective of San Francisco’s population in a nourishing, affordable and innovative way. Over 25,000 SF foodies are expected to attend the crowded and popping Street Food Festival which will cover over six blocks and a park in the Mission neighborhood with over 40 vendors, three bars and live music. The party will continue on after the event at the salsa club, Cafe Cocomo, with music, dancing, and more street food from 6pm-2am ($10 presale, $15 at the door). All pre-sales support La Cocina, a non-profit. Groggy-eyed Sunday foodies can be sure to get their fix too, at the Sunday Brunch featuring all-you-can-drink Bloody Mary/Champagne at Americano on the waterfront. Eat, dance, mingle and repeat.
